  • I was hesitant about modifying my Fox Transporter because it's an expensive bit of kit, but the BarrowPro brackets fit perfectly. There was no need for drilling or sketchy modifications. It looks like it belongs on the barrow. The balance remains spot on, and the motor provides that extra push exactly when you need it on soft ground.
  • I’m fairly handy but not an engineer. I managed to get this kit installed in under an hour. The wiring is tidy, the connectors are high quality, and the Makita battery mounts are very secure. The thumb throttle feels robust and has a nice 'spring' to it. If you want an electric barrow without the £800 price tag, this is the way to do it.
  • I'm already deep into the Makita 18V system for work, so this kit was a no-brainer. Sliding two 5.0Ah batteries into the mount and getting a full 36V of power is incredible. It pulls much harder than the single-battery kits I’ve tried before. It’s so convenient to use the same batteries for my drill, my impact driver, and now my Fox Transporter. Genius idea!
