• I was worried about the installation, but the 'bolt-on' design is as simple as it gets. The forks lined up perfectly with my Fox Transporter frame. The waterproof connectors are a nice touch and very tidy. It took me about 20 minutes to get everything set up. If you're on the fence about DIY-ing your barrow, don't be—this kit makes it a breeze.
• The most impressive part is the control. The thumb throttle is very responsive, and the auto-brake makes it feel safe when you're hauling 100kg+ of gear. It doesn't 'jerk' when you start, which is important so your kit doesn't fall off. It’s transformed my barrow into a professional-grade transporter
• I paired this with two 12V LiFePO4 batteries as recommended. The power delivery is very smooth. I did a 2-mile round trip on a single charge with plenty of juice left. The free-wheeling feature is great too; if the battery does run out, it's no harder to push than the original wheel. Only wish I'd bought it sooner!
