• I previously had some 6-inch wheels on my barrow, but they struggled with ruts and thick grass. These 10-inch versions roll over everything. The extra ground clearance is a massive bonus. They are slightly heavier, but the ease of movement more than makes up for the weight difference.
• I tend to carry way too much gear—massive bivvy, heavy batteries, and loads of bait. These wheels don't 'squat' or flex under pressure. The stability they add to the rear of the barrow is fantastic, preventing that annoying side-to-side wobble you get with some cheaper conversion kits.
• I used these to convert my old manual barrow into a motorized 3-wheel setup. The mounting plate is sturdy and easy to bolt onto a custom frame.
