• Tested this last weekend on a very 'claggy' track after heavy rain. Where I used to struggle and slip, the electric wheel just dug in and kept moving. Even on steep grassy inclines, the motor doesn't bog down. The auto-braking feature is also brilliant—it gives you so much control when going downhill with a heavy load
• I didn't realize how much I'd use the cruise control until I had a long walk to the far side of the lake. Just hold the throttle for a few seconds and it locks in—you can just walk alongside and steer with one hand. It makes the walk to the swim actually enjoyable instead of a chore. Very smooth power delivery too.
• I was worried the motor would be noisy and spook fish in the margins, but it's remarkably quiet. It’s just a low hum that you barely notice once you're walking. The thumb throttle is very responsive—you can creep along at a snail's pace or speed up for the open paths. Very impressed with the build quality.
