• I’ve used standard legs for 20 years, but after one session with this swivel kit, I’m a total convert. It’s so much more efficient. You can keep both hands on the handles for steering without having to provide the upward lift. It makes the whole barrow feel much more stable and less likely to tip over on uneven ground.
• I was worried that swivel wheels might be the 'weak point' of the barrow, but these are seriously heavy-duty. The steel is thick, the welds are clean, and the wheels themselves are rugged enough for gravel and hard-packed dirt. They don't rattle or flex even when I have the barrow fully loaded with a massive bivvy and weeks of bait.
• A small but brilliant feature is the ability to lock the wheels. When I’m unloading my gear on a slight incline, I don't have to worry about the barrow rolling away or shifting. It stays exactly where I put it. The swivel action is smooth as silk, and the overall engineering is top-notch.
